About Us

The DIYC was incorporated on April 2, 1992 to promote boating, fishing and water safety together with a social environment conducive to maximum enjoyment by all Club Members. Only Dataw Island Club members will be considered for DIYC membership. Historically, DIYC has sponsored 8-10 annual cruises (luncheon, raft-ups, overnights), an equal number of sailing races, kayak trips, fishing seminars and tournaments. Many social events are always planned on land – highlighted by the annual black tie Commodore’s Ball. Family dues are only $45 annually, billed to your DIC account.
